Data Analyst

Position Overview:
You will work closely with data science teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to answer data requirements from external and internal sources. You will be critical in analyzing data to suggest business enhancement and forecasting. You will collaborate with different departments to build more business intelligence around our data lake.

  • Build systems that integrate into our different departments to help develop new Business Intelligence.
  • Complete ad-hoc data analysis and reporting using a variety of technical tools.
  • Work alongside Data Engineers for smooth delivery pipelines.
  • Create compelling visualizations for management presentations.
  • Communicate project details through written materials such as proposals, reports, presentations, correspondence, and agendas for clear understanding and facilitation.
  • Work closely with a diverse, interdisciplinary team to deliver value to customers through Fama’s existing and new products.
  • Excel at placing a human-centered focus on the work (context, end-user impact, etc.), finding solutions that work in practice and have a significant effect.


  • 2+ years of experience in data management and dashboarding; bonus points if an experience with Quicksight.
  • 1+ years Experience ETL/data engineering, bonus if experiences with AWS stack: Glue, SageMaker, Kinesis, Lake formation.
  • You can think critically, objectively, and rationally. You can reason and communicate in a results-oriented, data-driven manner with high autonomy.
  • Strong working knowledge of statistics and probability.
  • Open to learning new tools and technologies.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
